Do not be alarmed by the initial unique odor associated with top grade raw leather as this will dissipate with time. We recommend you allow your item to air upon arrival. Please also note that imperfections found on the surface of 100% handcrafted hide are not defects but unique characteristics typical for this superior quality grade. Care Instructions:
When you invest in quality leather products, it’s worth your time to keep them looking – and feeling – great. Maintenance is best done with preventive care – avoiding any potential damage and proper storage.
- When not using your bag, place inside it some non-transferable tissue paper or color paper to keep it in its natural shape.
- Never place your bag inside a humid or damp environment as it can harm the material and even cause mildew.
- To prevent any scratches or damage and allow the leather product to breathe, store it in a dust bag or pillowcase for extra protection.
- Apply a leather lubricant once every 3 – 4 months (depending on where you live, temperatures, heat, humidity, etc., protect the surface of the leather from stains, and enhance the development of a beautiful patina.
